For those looking to build on their foundational drone knowledge, the Spray Drone Bootcamp explores the emerging use of drones for spraying and spreading applications. Participants will examine spray quality, drift management, mission planning, calibration, pesticide safety, regulatory considerations, and multispectral mapping, while gaining hands-on experience with agricultural drone systems.

This advanced training is well suited for professionals interested in the next generation of precision agriculture technologies and product application methods.

Community Scholar Series: Dr. Joy Becker

Professor Joy Becker is an internationally recognized leader in aquaculture health, biosecurity, and sustainable food production.

She is Deputy Head of School at the University of Sydney, with over 20 years’ experience working at the interface of science, industry, and policy.

Joy leads applied research in aquaculture and disease management that directly informs industry practice and regulatory decision‑making.

She is founding Co‑Editor‑in‑Chief of Aquaculture, Fish and Fisheries. She currently serves on the NSW Fisheries Scientific Committee, providing independent scientific advice to support sustainable fisheries and aquaculture industries.
