News travels fast at the AC when one of us is in trouble. Most of you may know by now that Sergio Sani fell on December 3rd and sustained a head injury. He is now in rehabilitation and doing well but with a long road ahead of him.Ěý
Serg is a very outgoing, trustworthy, “friends-with-everyone” kind of guy. He worked at the bookstore on campus the last four months so some of you would know him as that friendly guy with great advice; or at least advice, time would tell if it was good or not!!
He is also a new father to a baby girl Olivia born December 23rd. He has been beaming with joy over his life with his daughter that he almost didn’t get to enjoy. Olivia has a problem with her heart which was discovered before she was born, she will be having surgery in a few weeks. Sarah is doing well considering this trying time in their lives. Our thoughts go out to Serg and his family.
We beganĚý a fundraiser for Sergio originally on December 4thĚý and ended it before the break, but because of some students asking if it was still open we have restarted the fundraising. Donations can be made through the bookstore here at Cox Institute, Rm142.
