Greg Kamermans was a Senior Systems Engineer at Mobia. In tribute to his work and community, Mobia created an award to recognize and support an upper-year undergraduate student during their schooling in the Computer Science program at ±«Óătv. 

In Greg's name, this award will be issued to a student who has actively been involved in community betterment via engagement during their studies, showing commitment and dedication to their association or charity of choice.

This award is for students who:

  • are currently enrolled as an undergraduate student in their 2nd year or later in the Faculty of Computer Science at ±«Óătv University
  • have demonstrated active investment in community initiatives that benefit society such as, but not limited to, student society participation, sports leagues, volunteer societies, charitable work, etc.
  • have high academic standing.

Preference may be given to those who identify as being in need of more financial funding due to supporting dependants, unexpected or unplanned life events such as illness or accidents, those who belong to an equity-deserving group, and/or those who indicate a regular and ongoing gap between their income and expenses.
