A team of 鲍鱼tv student researchers recently won a prestigious global ocean engineering challenge by tackling one of the fundamental problems in polar research: how to collect vital ocean data from sensors deployed beneath huge ice sheets.

Sarty, who lives in Halifax and works remotely for California-based Mosaic, did her graduate work in Industrial Engineering working with a very different set of data 鈥� four years worth of information from the emergency department at Halifax鈥檚 IWK Health Centre.
