Peter Green Hall (PGH) is a 112-unit apartment building owned by ±«Óãtv University,ÌýlocatedÌýat 1094 Wellington Street, Halifax.

The building offers affordable apartments for ±«Óãtv students with spouses or families enrolled full-time on our Halifax campuses.Ìý

Beyond providing housing, Peter Green Hall offers students and their families from across the world a welcoming community atmosphere to make them feel at home and allow their families to thrive while continuing to learn and further their own education.

Eligibility

Ìý

Applicants must beÌýa full-time studentÌýatÌý±«Óãtv University,ÌýandÌýmust be married andÌýresidingÌýwith their spouse in Halifax or have aÌýchild or childrenÌýresiding with them.

Ìý

Applicants must provide the following:

  • Proof ofÌýmarriage (marriageÌýcertificate) orÌýproof ofÌýcustody (for single parents)
  • Proof ofÌýfull-time student statusÌý(confirmation ofÌýenrollment for current term)

How to apply

Contact Peter Green Hall atÌýpgh@dal.caÌýto have an application package forwardedÌýto youÌýor fill out Ìýand be added to the waitlist.

Applicants mustÌýsubmitÌýa marriage or domestic partnership certificate, or full custody agreement and proof of full-time student status at ±«Óãtv University with a completed application form.

After credit and reference checks, successful applicants are placed on the waiting list for an apartment on a first come, first serve basis.

Students can expect to wait 6-12 months or longer to be offered a unit.

Peter Green Hall Childcare Centre (PGHCC)

Peter Green Hall is the home of the Peter Green Hall Children's Centre (PGHCC).

PGHCC is a non-profit childcare centre dedicated to the education and care of young children. PGHCC provides early learning and care to children aged 4 months to 10 years.  Childcare is offered to the surrounding community with priority given to PGH residents.
