It’s estimated at least one in three post-secondary students in Canada experiences food insecurity, a problem exacerbated by this year's pandemic. The Food Security Project was launched by Dal this year to help raise funds to support student-led food programs.

Dr. Lisa Barrett, an infectious diseases specialist with Dal’s Faculty of Medicine, organized a pop-up testing site at ±«Óãtv this week that attracted long lines of young people — many of them students — in for free, rapid COVID-19 testing amid a growing second wave of cases in Halifax.
