This weekend marked the U Sports championships for the men's basketball Tigers and the Tigers track and fields teams. Runner Mike Van Der Poel took home a bronze medal, as did the men's basketball team — its highest ever national finish.

Following a third-straight AUS championship title last weekend, the ±«Óătv Tigers men's basketball team have home court advantage as they try and win Dal's first ever national basketball championship. Dal takes on Alberta in Thursday night's quarter-final.
