Maike van Niekerk has accomplished a lot in her time as a Dal Nursing student: conducting research on cancer and Canada's Indigenous peoples; winning several major university and community awards; launching a cancer charity in memory of her mother. Now, she's off to study at Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar.
