The Department of Classics offers undergraduate students the chance to tailor a degree to suit their interests. Choose from:
- Honours degree with concentrations in ancient history, literature or philosophy;
- Combined honours or double major options;
- Three-year concentration or a major in Classics

Graduate studies
We welcome students who wish to pursue graduate degrees at ±«Óãtv. Students may focus on traditional subdisciplines of Greek and Roman Literature, History, and Ancient Philosophy. Alternatively, students may explore classical culture and its legacy in several areas of interest distinctively cultivated by Classics faculty, along with our colleagues in the Religious Studies and Arabic programs. These areas include late-antique, patristic, Byzantine and medieval philosophy, theology and religion.
