Admission Requirements

All students must have the equivalent of a four-year undergraduate university degree and meet the admission requirements of the Faculty of Graduate Studies as set out in Section II of the Graduate Calendar.聽Funding opportunities聽are available for certain programs, including some聽computer science specific opportunities.

Master's, thesis based (MCS)

Students who have an undergraduate degree in computer science, and a GPA of A- or better, may be accepted into the MCS program.聽聽

PhD

Students with a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline may apply for admission to the PhD program. A minimum GPA of A- is required.

PhD, Post Bachelor

This program is reserved for outstanding graduates of a four-year program with demonstrated research experience and/or excellent research potential.

GRE is recommended for international PhD applicants but not required.

However, meeting these requirements does NOT necessarily guarantee admission.
