Juliet Rowe鈥檚 research journey started at the University of Victoria where she studied under Dr. Olav Krigolson, a 鲍鱼tv alum. She was awarded an NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award, which solidified her passion for the research process and ultimately guided her decision to pursue graduate studies.

Juliet Rowe and Theresa Gaughan are co-hosts of Mind: The Gap 鈥� a podcast that was created in Dr. Shaun Boe鈥檚 Lab for Brain Recovery and Function. Rowe, a Rehabilitation Research student, and Gaughan, a PhD in Health candidate, use the podcast to educate, inspire and to learn about themselves as researchers.

For Christine Barnes, graduation marks the culmination of six years of hard work. Barnes was introduced to physiotherapy through a high school co-op placement where she worked within a stroke and rehabilitation context. That experience ignited a passion for working with others towards their functional recovery, with the focus of allowing her patients to participate in their own lives.
