What is Theatre Studies?
A Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Theatre Studies at ±«Óãtv’s Fountain School of Performing Arts explores the full breadth of theatre, from playwriting and performance analysis to directing and dramaturgy.
You’ll examine theatre’s rich history, literature, and global performance traditions while developing your own critical perspective.

What will I learn?
You’ll build strong critical thinking, analysis, and communication skills.
Through discussion-based classes, creative research projects, and writing, you’ll learn to think deeply, articulate ideas clearly, and engage with theatre in meaningful ways.

BA with Honours in Theatre (Theatre Studies)

Degree requirements are based on those in place the year you begin your degree. 

Honours students must maintain at least a B+ average in all of their advanced Theatre classes. 

Theatre Studies students complete the Honours Qualifying Project by fulfilling the function of a dramaturge or assistant director on one of the Fountain School stage productions.
